Ajax video surveillance

Ajax cameras and video recorders are on the same hub and in the same app as the Ajax alarm system. It’s the difference that matters: those who already have an Ajax alarm don't have to learn a second system or open a second app when something happens. The alarm and the images can be viewed in the same place.

What you'll find here

  • IP cameras — 4 and 5 megapixel bullet, turret, and dome cameras, with onboard MicroSD card support up to 256 GB, in black or white.
  • NVR video recorders — from 8 channels and up, with H.265 and H.264 compression.
  • Kits — recorder and cameras already paired, so you can get started without piecing it together.
  • Mounting accessories — brackets and junction boxes in the right sizes for these cameras.

Before you order, two things that make the difference

A system isn't just made of cameras: you also need the video recorder, the hard drive, the PoE switch that carries both power and data on the same cable, the monitor, and for each camera, the network cable and the junction box.

It’s not worth saving money on the cable: you need pure copper (BC) Cat6. CCA, copper-clad aluminum, costs less, but it loses voltage on PoE power, and the furthest camera will restart without anyone knowing why.

If you don't know how many cameras you need or where to place them, write to the assistant at the bottom right: we can put the list together, with the correct codes.
